05 Labs

This track consists of 5 labs, each provided as a separate lab instance, and each must be completed in one uninterrupted session. Your session time starts as soon as you launch a lab. The track and all labs stay available for 30 days after you redeem your voucher code. You’ll get two attempts per lab during this period. After 30 days, all labs and related data will be automatically deleted from the CloudLabs Sandbox portal.

About Course

In this hands-on lab, you’ll learn about the Azure Databricks workspace, a central hub for managing Databricks clusters, data, and resources on Azure. You’ll explore Apache Spark clusters for parallel data processing across multiple nodes and use notebooks to combine notes with interactive code cells for data exploration. You’ll also delve into Delta Lake, an open-source relational storage for implementing a Data Lakehouse architecture in Azure Databricks. Additionally, you’ll work with SQL Warehouses, enabling data analysts to use familiar SQL queries. Notebooks in Azure Databricks will be used to perform data engineering tasks, such as processing data files and loading data into tables, and you’ll see how Azure Data Factory can orchestrate these tasks within a data engineering pipeline.
